HURRICANE BARBARA FORMS IN THE EASTERN PACIFIC

A new tropical storm has developed strength in the eastern Pacific Ocean. The system, now known as Tropical Storm Barbara, is currently located about 100 miles east of the coast of California. Meteorologists are anticipating that Barbara will grow in power over the next few days. The storm is heading northwestward at approximately 20 mph. I
